New at Vulcan: Film Labels
Digital finishing specialist Vulcan is now offering print media. The launch begins with PP film labels. The LabelStock brand represents print media optimized for the highest demands throughout the entire process: brilliant color printing, seamless processing, and strong adhesion.
Vulcan originally developed the material specifically for its sheet-cutting plotter SC-350. However, it is generally suitable for all forms of processing.
"Extensive tests have confirmed that the material offers excellent cutting quality and is easy to handle. That is why we decided to make it accessible to the entire label printing industry through our specialist dealers."
explains Managing Director Oliver Tiedemann. Despite its premium quality, it is positioned in the lower price segment.
Optimized for Seamless Handling
Several properties ensure particularly high process efficiency: Edge-Gap technology prevents adhesive residues in the printer, reducing maintenance. The anti-curling feature enables rapid post-print processing. Lower static charge compared to other materials prevents double feeds. Additionally, the stable material is easy to weed.
Sample Package Available
Vulcan LabelStock is currently available in two variants: white synthetic PP film 87g/m2, in glossy or matte. Sheet formats available include SRA3, with DIN A3 to follow later in 2025.
