The Hönle Business Unit Curing will showcase UV and LED-UV curing systems for a wide range of converting applications at ICE Europe 2025.
At the ICE Europe exhibition, UV specialist Hönle will present a selection from its extensive portfolio of UV and LED-UV curing devices designed for converting applications. The product range is complemented by hybrid LED/UV systems, IR hot air modules, and UV/LED-UV measurement technology, including the brand-new UV Scan MACS.
A highlight of the exhibition is a UV curing chamber designed to be mounted over a water-cooled roller. Equipped with reflectors and UV emitters, this system ensures efficient and uniform curing on delicate and temperature-sensitive materials. Typical applications include curing coatings on technical films as well as crosslinking silicones and hotmelt/PSA adhesives.
A standout feature of the UV curing chamber is the optional nitrogen inertisation, which reduces the residual oxygen content in the irradiation area to below 50 ppm. This significantly enhances the coating's properties regarding sensor sensitivity, migration behaviour, and mechanical and chemical resistance.
The system is highly versatile and suitable for various materials, including paper, films, and plastics. It provides a practical solution for numerous industries, ranging from packaging and technical film materials to pharmaceutical products.
By using the Hönle UV chamber, customers benefit from improved product quality, reduced process times, and a user-friendly design that ensures easy access and maintenance.
A world first, the new UV Scan MACS features patented measurement technology for simple and precise determination of UV dosage.
