UV Inks - More sustainable step by step
With easy UV 120, easy inks GmbH is launching its second UV ink for Mimaki printers onto the market. It has a longer shelf life, is attractively priced and is also available for machines that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. If that isn't sustainable!

Economical, fair, ecological
Print service providers have long complained about delivery problems and short remaining stock times for UV inks from the manufacturer. As a result, orders are delayed or have to be rejected. In addition, expired ink has to be disposed of properly. This is expensive for the print shop and bad for the environment. This is because more raw materials are used than necessary. This also applies to printing presses that are no longer supported by the manufacturer. With UV inks "Made in Germany" from easy Inks GmbH, both current and older or used machines can be supplied with suitable ink: reliably, quickly and as required, and at an extremely attractive price.
The easy UV 170 is intended for the Mimaki UV LED roll printers with contour cut function of the UCJV300 and UCJV150 series. From June 2024, it will also be available as a "clear coat" / varnish in a 1,000 ml bottle for surface effects.
With the new easy UV 120, many other Mimaki UV printers can be operated with the high-quality UV inks "Made in Germany" from easy inks GmbH. This is because easy UV 120 in the colours cyan, magenta, yellow and black, as well as light cyan, light magenta and white is compatible with the following printers:

Uncomplicated handling of the easy UV 120 ink for Mimaki
As is customary at easy inks GmbH, the inks have been closely modelled on the formulation of the original manufacturer's product LUS-120. This means that users can replace them in a few simple steps using the "plug & print" method.
"The bottles with easy UV 120 alternative ink are supplied with a matching chip. You screw them into the adapters on the machine, insert the chip and continue printing straight away,"
explains Bölkow.
Hoses and heads do not need to be rinsed. This means that any remaining ink in the storage tanks is not lost. The colour locations and printing properties of the easy UV 120 alternative ink from easy inks GmbH have been precisely adapted. This means that existing profiles can continue to be used without any problems. Switching to the sustainable UV inks "Made in Germany" from easy inks GmbH can therefore be done in just a few minutes.
easy UV 120: longer shelf life
The easy UV 120 ink has a shelf life of twelve months ex works. That is twice as long as the original manufacturer's cartridges. The ink is produced in Denzlingen, so that the short shipping distances
short despatch routes, the shelf life is also fully maintained. Orders placed directly with easy inks GmbH are usually delivered to the customer within 1-2 working days.

Customised bottles sizes
The new easy UV 120 is available as standard in 1 litre bottles with chip. Similar to the easy UV 170 UV-curing ink, 0.5 litre bottles are also available on request. This offer is aimed at service providers who need to produce smaller volumes on Mimaki UV printers or who need to print at several locations.
The new easy UV 120 inks for Mimaki UV printers will be available from June 2024. They will be available in the easy inks GmbH webshop and from selected dealers. The new "clear varnish" bottles of the easy UV 170 ink family will be launched at the same time.
